  • City Facts
Kettering is named for its most outstanding citizen, the famous philanthropist and inventor of the automobile self-starter, Charles. F. Kettering. The City of Kettering is the second largest city in Montgomery County. This community of approximately 57,500 citizens encompasses 18.4 square miles of land. Kettering's proximity to the main interstates provides access to shopping, local cultural arts programs, and universities. The city's major employers include Kettering Medical Center, Delphi Corporation, Reynolds & Reynolds, GE Money and Victoria Secret Direct.

Kettering has 20 parks totaling 284 acres and is home to the Fraze Pavilion, a major outdoor entertainment venue. Skate Plaza, a 40,000 square foot skateboard park, is a collaboration between the City of Kettering and Rob Dyrdek, a professional skateboarder who grew up in Kettering. Other city park facilities include tennis courts, baseball diamonds, football and soccer fields, self-guided fitness trails and a BMX track. Stocked fishing ponds, picnic shelters and walking paths provide opportunities to enjoy nature.

    Buyer's Incentives

    National City
Through our partnership with National City, homebuyers purchasing Litehouse homes in targeted neighborhoods will be eligible to apply for a special mortgage program and may be eligible for a mortgage at 1-1/2% below market rate. That means if the current market interest rate is 6%, Litehouse buyers could be eligible for a 4-1/2% mortgage interest rate.
